Lisa Manoogian is an associate at Danko Meredith. She works on both fire litigation and single plaintiff personal injury cases, representing clients impacted by property damage, physical and emotional injuries, and business losses. Lisa joined the firm in her second year of law school as a law clerk. Now a licensed attorney in both California and Hawai’i, she is a fierce advocate for her clients.
As a law student, Lisa was a writer for the Iowa Law Review and a Managing Editor for the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice.
Lisa grew up outside of Boston, surrounded by many different languages, cultures, and values. That diversity became her “normal,” and has provided important perspective throughout Lisa’s life. In 2010, Lisa graduated magna cum laude from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Between college and law school, Lisa was a successful owner/operator of a cottage food bakery and a wilderness guide in Yosemite National Park. Standing atop Half Dome as the moon set and the sun rose remains one of her most cherished memories, and environmental stewardship is a main tenet of her daily life. In 2022, Lisa earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law. As a law student, she interned with the Iowa Court of Appeals, was a student writer for the Iowa Law Review, a Managing Editor for the Journal of Gender, Race & Justice, and a student practitioner in the Iowa Law Clinic. She also externed with the Criminal Appeals division of the Iowa Office of the Attorney General, where she drafted appellate briefs and delivered oral argument in State v. Hart.
Lisa is an active member of American Association of Justice, Consumer Attorneys of California, San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association, Santa Cruz County Bar Association and Hawai’i State Bar Association.
Lisa lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains with her Significant Other and Ruth, her rescue dog. Outside of work, Lisa still enjoys reading fiction and baking bread. She also attempts and sometimes prevails in home improvement projects and growing vegetables. She has been chaos gardening before it was labeled as such.
